Three Cliffs Bay
Yesterday Ila and I went to Three Cliffs Bay. Basically, it was amazing. The weather was perfect; warm and sunny- rare things to find in Wales. So we took the bus out to Pennard Cliffs and then walked down to the beach. The tide was in which had the lovely effect of creating a small and secluded section of beach which families were enjoying.
We climbed down the cliffs and found a spot to nest in the rocks. Then we had lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the sun and ocean. I was really dissapointed I didn't wear my whole bathing suit because I was prevented from going swimming. But I definitely plan to go back and take a swim. Three Cliffs Bay is an amazing beach- one of the most beautiful I have ever been to.
Since this was Ila's last weekend in town, it was a really nice way to spend our last Saturday together. I cannot believe she will be leaving tomorrow and I will not see her again for months- possibly years. ::despair::
And I will be leaving Swansea incredibly soon myself.
