(Ballard) Farmers Market Report

Ok, that was a success. There were more vendors out now then in December, although there was definitely a switch to more 'season stable' items like soap and honey. Our take today: Kael, 2 Delicata Squash's (like Acorn, apparently, but smaller), Carrots, Rosemary, Sage, Trailhead cheese, 4 HoneyCrisp Apples, Blackberry-wildflower honey, beef summer sausage, Lavash (Turkish flatbread), 2 kinds of wine-infused humus, dried chanterelle and morel mushrooms, Country Apple cider, hard cider, Buttery hotcakes (for dinner tonight), a Chicken Pot-Pie/Calzone thing (also for dinner tonight, probably).

Yeah, I'll go with that.

In somewhat unrelated news, I apparently need a food-related icon that is slightly less overtly negative ;->
