holy balls its been over a month since I updated
I'm at work, the day before July 4, but I chose to be here, so that's fine.
Work is fine...nothing special...
Last night Christine and I stopped by Greg Krane's BBQ...we had fun! We brought some drinks, and he had a keg, and Christine and I actually won a game of beruiut!!! GO US! (we never win)
there were two sorta kinda hot guys there, but I really think one kid (Sig Pi) maybe wasn't telling us the truth about his life (eye of judgement on that one)
I "met" Erin Hicks (though I've met her before, she doesn't seem to remember). This girl is one of Isaac's "good friends," except I can not, for the life of me, understand how Isaac puts up with her shit. She even admitted to me that she used to get Isaac to help her with EE classes, and she's basically bring his examples to exams to copy...Isaac would not approve of that!
I got to drive Christine's jeep back to her house. I dunno why I always think driving other people's cars is fun. Her jeep is great, cause you can put the top down and pop your collar.
Thursday is Nat's birthday, and Friday is Lil's birthday. I skipped out on going to NY this weekend mostly because I'd rather see Natalie when Rob isn't around (more chance to do girly things!) and partially because I want some time alone this weekend. No marion, no boyfriend, just an evening alone (me and some of my new DVDs...Napolean Dyno, Gattaca, Edward Scissorhands, ummm...some other ones, too)
Friday night Lil is throwing herself a party...which should be fun, if I can manage to stay awake late enough!
I went to Marion this weekend. Nothing eventful there, except nice weather (super boss weather, in fact!)
Isaac adopted a random cat off the street. He named it Patrick, but we're not sure what gender it actually is...it's being Patrabeth (Patrick-Elizabeth). At first I really liked the cat, but it's a KITTEN, and it attacks at will. It is really really cute.
It's been over a month since I last posted, and I'm not sure what I can say. I work, I go home, I cook dinner, I see Isaac about twice a week, I see other friends on weekends and some weeknights.
Wait, I haven't seen Greg Simpson in over a month...we suck at actually getting together. And Jess is at Harvard Architecture for the summer, but I haven't heard from him...
Job is done the 18th of August, and Tufts starts Tuesday after Labor Day, so it appears I have a few weeks off. I'm going to ask my boss if I can stay a bit longer, even if it's unpaid, so I can continue through the entire process (esp with the Worcester Permit).
That's all for now! I just heard a rumor that we're getting "let out" early? But maybe not! We shall see...
