I always appreciate the penny arcade...almost always. Monday's comic was pretty good.
I'm still on break! It's Tuesday!
SUNDAY WAS SUPER BOSS. Christine and I went to Southie for the parade. We began the day by doing shots of Jamison in my car, before we got on the T, and then wandered along the parade route. I bumped into Dave Gordon and Eric and Greg (twins from my WPI Civil classes, and cool guys). I think I hugged all of them.
We then went to a bar on Brookline Ave near Fenway...and drank some beers, did a shot, and ORDERED TAKE OUT FOOD. Yes, that's right, we had chinese food delivered to a bar. Strange, but yummy!
Then we headed over to the Dropkick's show. (Christine won tickets on BCN, so it was free!). We caught the end of the second opener....ick. Finally finding a place to stand for the show, we were talked to by two sketchy old losers. Thankfully, they were drunk, and didn't believe we were 24, and left to get drinks and never returned.
Dropkicks always put on a good show...they had a drum/bagpipe band from some highschool, and dancing teenage girls (basically boobies) dancing to one of their tunes. They sadly did a cover of the Who's "Teenage Wasteland", which was enjoyable, but not as amazing as the Who's performance!
Tomorrow I'm off to NH to visit my grandmother (with my mom)...we plan to visit the Cabot Cheese factory and the Ben and Jerry's factory. Mmm...dairy! Thank you, VT (for the gay, and the dairy).
Lots of fun!
