Eff you, USPS

Never EVER be happy with your national mail carrier. Canadian post, I know for a fact, is horrid.

But I was sent on an errand today to the post office. Fine, I really have nothing better to do, and I needed the stamps to do a mailing. Linda, my boss, had about... 200 23 cent stamps we were hoping we could exchange up to the current amount. Get like, 100 or whatever normal stamps. No can do, apparently. The lady at the post office said we could double them up or buy the partial stamps and add to it. I told her that is unacceptable, this is for a company. She was just like, "whatever, bitch." Not in those terms, but she was thinking it. She actually said "well then your boss is losing a lot of money"... Whatever. I then bought stamps with money Linda gave me in case they won't exchange them. She told me no American Flags and that Jennifer (my supervisor) had gotten some pretty flowers last time. The lady at the post office asked me if I wanted a specific design. I told her the flowers. She then asked me if it was for my boss. I said yes. "Your boss wants FLOWERS?" I then told her it was for Moore College and we want the mailing to just look nice.

What I really wanted to say is this:
Apparently you know nothing about professionalism, seeing as you are working at the post office. A job a monkey can be trained to do. Also, just by looking at your make-up and accessories (or lack there of), you know nothing about aesthetics. Seeing as you are also rather masculine in your lack of aesthetic appeal, you have no right to judge how a prestigious womens' art and design college should choose to mail invitations. Have a fabulous day, madam.

post office, work
