Long time, no see. 'Nuff said.
My life is uneventful enough that even after this long hiatus, I find it difficult to know what to write. However, spring is finally here, I am enjoying all the lovely fresh air pouring in my open windows, and I have a husband eagerly anticipating his first motorcycle ride in almost 2 years. Life is good
And changing…James is now in Japan, Jen is married, Rebecca is graduating, Kris has moved in with Allen (who seems super), Phil has broken up with Elise, and Dan is graduating as well.
We finally got around to putting in the new faucets in the bathtub( with only a very small plumbing leak), and can now dispose of the vise-grips which have been used as handles for so long that they have frozen into those positions. YAY!!
Dan has found that being stuck with needles twice a week is better than being constantly broke.
I think the time has come for him to start seriously applying for writing jobs…or whatever job he looks to make a permanent part of his life, while waiting for a writing career. Though I imagine the amount of rejection he has suffered in the last few months has seriously damaged his confidence in his inevitable success. He does seem to be putting more effort into his life lately. Ah, well. Hope things start looking up for him.
