6 months
Today is the six month anniversary of when Katie and I became boyfriend and girlfriend. Though I suppose to some people, this means nothing, I must say it marks the best six months of my life thus far, and therefore it's meaningful to me. Katie has always been there for me, being one of the nicest, sweetest people I know. She's also let me be there for her, opening up to me about everything; trusting completely, just as a relationship should be. I wish it were possible to see her today, even if I could just have taken her out to dinner. She deserves more than a dinner on this occasion, but the closest she'll get to seeing me today is through a webcam.
I'm truly blessed in so many ways. I'm blessed to have the best girlfriend in the world (yeah, yeah, I know everyone says that... but mine really is ;)). I'm blessed to have found someone so kind and loving. I'm blessed to be in a stable relationship; not void of disagreements, but lacking the uncertainty that plagues so many people our age. I'm blessed to have found someone who generally shares my beliefs on God and religion (except for women pastors and predestination... *cough*). Most of all, I'm blessed to love someone that reciprocates that love.
