Ga Tech
well, I finally moved in to the dorm here at Tech. I don't expect to update as much or in as much detail, probably just when something interesting or notable happens. Some general observations so far are that most guys here are desperate, and make themselves look like fools chasing girls, and that the buzz card is awesome. I'll be getting lots of excersize here, even if I never set foot in the SAC. Anyway, Katie got an LJ tonight too... mykatiebug.
I must say, I absolutely love it here at Tech, though. Despite the dominate Y chromosome, the people here are really friendly and intelligent. My roommate is a fairly quiet guy, I don't think he'll give me any problems (nor I him, I hope). I've met quite a few friends, so I'm not terribly isolated here. My dorm is larger than I expected, not crowded at all, in fact... I could put my couch in here quite comfortably. The only part I don't like about Tech is being away from Katie; I can't wait to see her in a few weeks. I took seeing her all the time for granted this summer, and now I won't much at all. But at least life here is great... Tech is really a perfect fit for me.
