I Love Amazon

I think Amazon is a great company. It seems to keep the needs and desires of its customers in mind. I was skeptical of Amazon Prime (free 2 day shipping for an annual fee), but I've become a convert after getting a discount offer to try it. In a typical year, Prime basically pays for itself because I'd be paying for shipping on Christmas presents to St. Louis to guarantee their timely arrival. Beyond that, I'm much more likely to buy something from Amazon if the price is as good or better and I don't have to leave home to get it.

Beyond that, they are declaring war on annoying packaging. One victory in this war is Sony, which is abandoning the plastic clamshell.

In short, Amazon makes my life easier and cheaper. That's why I'm a loyal Amazon customer.
