Those wacky Japanese

So, I just saw that in Japan, an organization called the "Japan Doting Husbands Association" has named today 'Beloved Wives Day'. Sadly, the English portion of their website isn't working for me, because I'd love to get their full 5 rules. :)

Here's the high points:

• call your wife by her name (instead of grunting or calling her 'you')
  
• look her in the eyes when you talk to her
  
• On Beloved Wives Day, be home from work early (by 8 PM)
  
• On Beloved Wives Day, express their gratitude to their wives
  

That's just too funny.

The sad thing is, apparently the above are dramatic changes in the normal husband/wife dynamic of Japan.
