Slashdot posted a link to a "Top 10 Geek Girls" article. The blurb describing it includes:
Marie Curie apparently used to carry plutonium in her jacket pockets.
Incredible. Marie Curie apparently found naturally occurring plutonium to carry in her pockets, as quantum mechanics wasn't invented yet (she died in 1891), much less breeder reactors.
