Cowboy Bebop
Apparently a live action Cowboy Bebop is in the making. Sadly, Keanu "Whoa" Reeves is cast as Spike, which is going to wound me deeply. If you haven't watched Cowboy Bebop, you should, but the rest of this post will mean nothing to you (it also won't contain spoilers).
projecttracker and I were talking about who we'd want for some of the major roles.
We tossed around a lot of ideas for Spike, and Christian Bale was among the better choices. We didn't really come to a conclusion other than that Keanu is a really bad choice.
For Jett, we agreed on Bruce Willis. That would just rock.
We tossed around a lot of names for Faye, but none of them had the combined glamor-girl and action that the role requires.
Somehow we missed talking about Ed and Vicious, though they'd definitely need strong actors.
Lastly, Ein remains the most important character in the show. I hope they have a good animal handler for him.
