Oshkoshin it

Whoo boy, what to say what to say. I'll start from the beginning.

So I got up here on a Saturday, the 10th in fact. And what do people do on Saturday nights, well you know.... glug glug glug, yup. I took part some, starting with one of those $7 margaritas at the tumbleweed. I thought I was doing just fine until I look over and Jon already has his downed and informs me I have to catch up. Okay, imagine this, walk into wal-mart and buy one of those icees, chug the entire thing, wait for the most intense cold-headache ever. Couple this with losing consciousness for a few secconds, yup, that's what happens. The rest of the night was no less exciting, playing pool with this deadbeat guy who was jobless and basically homeless and sounds like all he did with his life before this change was smoke pot. This guy was in his 40's at least. I got the tour of the Oshkosh bars, which included one bar with tons of games in the back, Ski-ball!!! I did manage to get myself booted from one bar, aparently unscrewing light bulbs and letting them drop to the floor is frowned upon, huh, who knew.

Then hmmmm..... settled into my class, which rocks my days pretty hard. It's literature and film. This means we watch a full length movie every day of class. We've watched some pretty clutch movies too... The Usual Suspects, The Godfather, Memento, The Maltese Falcon, The Long Goodbye... just to name a few... we're still going to watch Taxi Driver or Trainspotting later on, pretty sweet I'd say. I also got back my first couple grades from the mid-term and the first paper and it looks like I'mm going to get an A in the class so that's prety clutch in my book.

Other than that Meghan has been up here, which has had its ups and downs. I kind of got stuck in a sleep all the time, all day all night kind of mood which always gets me in a depressed kind of mood. We actually broke up earlier this week, but I've since gotten us back together after a rough and trying two day breakup... Meghan is there for me more than I even realize so it seemed stupid to give up on the relationship. Also some other things she's there for me for...

Oh yeah, on the 24th we were finally able to move down into the downstairs apartment, which was fully renovated for us. The place is sweet, new floors, they sanded and stained the hardwood floors, put in new ceilings, and even gave us a brand new gas stove and new fridge... pretty sweet I'd say, and I do.

So life still remains a roller coaster, but its pretty much the way I like it.... always interesting for sure. This weekend I'm going out to Iowa for the second wedding to be filmed by my brother and I... and next week I'll finnally get rolling on puting my new computer together.... although at the last minute I'm debating between Mac or PC.... those damn Mac comercials are workin on me hard... ugh, I don't know... gotta look into it... I know Mac's are better for video editing, I've just never used one before.

Yeah well that's where I'm at... we don't have internet at our place yet so I'm not quite as quick on the updating or reading of lj's as of late.... I'd have tons to read if I tried to catch up I'm sure.... um, GO BREWERS!
