Sunday
I had a nice and relaxing morning. I slept in until almost 9. I needed to get that extra sleep. When I got up, I was surprised to find that Rusty was still in his bed in my room. Normally if I have gotten up in the middle of the night and left the door open he has gotten up and went downstairs and went to sleep on the futon. However, this morning he was still in bed.
I went out and turned on the TV and watched a strange movie called Beautiful Creatures. It had recorded off the movie channel onto the DVR. Based on the description, I expected it to be a comedy, but it really wasn't. I ended up fast forwarding through most of it. Rusty came out and joined me on the couch where he laid on my lap and slept through the entire movie. He likes to cuddle, but generally he doesn't cuddle with me much. He prefers cuddling with my sister.
After the movie, I made some oatmeal for breakfast. Joey must have slept with my brother cause he then came upstairs and greeted me. I watched a bit more miscellaneous tv while I had breakfast, then I decided to get dressed and take yahoos out for a walk. Since my sister moved in I have gotten really bad about walking them. That is part of why I have put on some more weight. We went for a walk along the rivier. It is incredibly windy out. That is one thing I didn't miss when I didn't live in Kansas. That wind.
Made porkchops for lunch and then did laundry and cleaned up the kitchen. It is always amazing how fast the kitchen becomes a disaster. When I win the lottery, I am definitely gonna remodel that whole kitchen. I want a built-in dishwasher and all new cabinets.
Got my laundry caught up and watched Fantastic Four Rise of the Surfer.
