I have survived my move. Currently residing in Salem, MA...right on Collins Cove, which is wonderful.
Work has been amazing. Have made friends with my coworkers/management, and am making strides with the students. Last Thursday, we marched in the Haunted Happenings Parade. It was, without a doubt, the best 12 hour day I have EVER worked. For photos of the spectacle that is the Greenhouse School, check out Facebook.
Other than that, I am attempting to get settled again after I up and discombobulated just about every aspect of my life. New job, new apt, new relationship prospects, new roommates, new computer, new financial situation. Not that any of it is going particularly poorly. I need a computer desk, though. Huh.
Yesterday, I worked the Boy Scout Jamboree at Gunstock for FlisKits. It was fun, I got free food, but daaaaaamn are Boy Scouts creepy. Little nerdy Nazi children. Ugh.
Tonight, Yan and Becky come to visit me! YAY! I'm excited to show off the new apt, the new neighborhood, the new city. Perhaps we will walk down to O'Neils, buy some beers, and meet some people. Woot.
Ramble ramble. Sometimes, the only way to get things done is to do them all at once.
