Bike and swim.
Biking today was pretty good. 55 minutes and got out 19.xx miles. Tried to focus on keeping my heel down, although it feels kinda weird. But that's what you gotta do I suppose, or so I'm told. Nothing much more exciting there.
The swim today! I threw out my normal plan for today, and I warmed up with 100 free and 100 russian. I felt pretty good after that. Then the fun started. Today I was going to see how long I could swim w/o stopping. Or maybe just a slight pause to turn around at the end of the pool. Anyways, most sprint races require about 500-750m swim in open water. My first one is 600m. Today I swam 800m! That's a half freakin mile! Sweet! Probably could have reached 900, but fatigue was starting to set in, and I had already passed my goal of at least 700m. I know that when you're swimming in open water, and in a huge pack, it takes a little more time and distance, so that why I aimed for 700. But I hit 700 and told myself I can still go a little longer. I then set the goal at 1000, but was really starting to lose some form and what not, and didn't want to start sacrificing that just for some extra yardage. So I called it a day at 800, and did that in roughly 23 minutes. Awesome!
