How We Got In This Mess
Through Win 95, Win 98 (first edition), Win ME, and now Vista we let Microsoft firmly establish mediocrity as an acceptable business standard and then stood by while every other corporate entity lowered the bar.
We put the 'Me Generation' in charge of critical sectors of our society.
We elected idiots.
Through our support at the gate and through advertising revenues based on our reckless purchasing habits we empowered the entertainment / pro-sports duopoly to pay their stars exorbitant amounts of money while foisting lowest denominator crap on us the consumers.
We let the corporations steal our self identities and lease them back to us temporarily for the price of the latest trinket.
