A learning experience
The web-based class I took over the summer on mergers, acquisitions, and hostile takeovers taught me something, although not really that much about the material. I am not good at independent learning; attending physical classrooms is much more my speed, mostly because it prevents procrastination and forces me to pay closer attention to the material. Especially if there's a chance I'll be called on, which doesn't happen so much in web-based classes.
So...I'm signed up for the in-person class being offered this fall, even though the web-based class sound more interesting to me.

I am so ready for a vacation; the beach is two weeks away.
I've been standing in for someone else at work for the last few weeks while she was on vacation. Would not want her job full-time; the crap that gets passed to her to clear up is ridiculous -- I'd be embarrassed to be responsible for handing her that work.

The US Open starts tomorrow. I'll be hunting for a stream or radio coverage in the afternoon :)
