Efficient markets redux

Mar 02, 2013 11:58

Not too long ago I wrote of my confusion about the efficient capital markets and fraud on the market theory. It assumes efficiency that seems not real to me.

Apparently I'm not the only person to wonder about it. In last week's Amgen opinion, the dissent (Scalia, with whom I seldom agree as I think his strict yet bendable construction is a crock) questions FOTM and efficient theories.

Huh.

It's weird to come home and find my stuff out of place. Little things, like a chair pulled out or a door not completely closed. Normally that would freak me out, but I have to remind myself that potential buyers are poking around and looking at everything.

Four visitors so far. Fingers crossed.
