Hello!
I'm currently writing my bachelor thesis about Ganguro!
I really need old scans of Egg from 1995 untill 2005!
Does anybody know where to find them?

I would really appreciate your help C:

there is a couple of back issues from 2000-2005 on ebay atm, but I think its extremly hard to find scans from the 90's around : /

But it takes too long for them to arrive..
Doesn't anybody have old scans? I just need a few from the beginning of the ganguro hype in 1995!

I'm pretty sure jmagazinescans has/had Egg scans from '99 and '04. YOu'll probably need to search a bit, but they exist :)

It's not really a magazine, but 'Flowers - Girl's History of Egg' (Amazon.jp link) gives a potted history of Egg as well as interviews with with famous previous models.

Hope that helps a little, and good luck with your thesis!

Not sure what angle you're taking, but Toby Slade's 'Japanese Fashion - A Cultural History' (Amazon UK link) is utterly invaluable for putting Japanese fashion in a proper historical context; he covers around 50 years from when Japan made the major move from kimono to Western clothing.

My fashion nerd flag is flying high today! ;D
