ok so my day started out VERY uneventful. The kids were taking the TAKS test today and I couldn't be in the classroom with them so they assigned me to be a hall monitor. For the next 7 hours I did nothing but sit on a chair in the hallway and make sure students weren't talking. It felt like such a waste of 7 hours and was completely unproductive. I couldn't do any homework because it is all online, so all I did was read the same magazines and newspaper over again then sat and counted the tiles on the walls. Right after school I had to drive from Frisco to Lewisville to pick up some stuff from the admin. bldg and then back to Denton. Then of course I did not do anything productive at home either other than take a shower and get my crap ready for tomorrow. So then i went to erika's and ate some delicious food and now i am very full and sleepy. oh yeah but i feel so happy and relieved now because i just found out i am going to get my scholarship after all because student teaching is considered full time even though it only counts for 9 hours, so i will be coming into some free money soon! yeahh goodnight friends :)
oh. also i feel very stupid because i graded some spelling tests wrong and my old mentor teacher had to explain to some parents that her student teacher is retarded and messed up. she didnt say that exactly, but it was quite embarrasing. oh well, everyone makes mistakes i guess.
