Busy day yesterday, trying to get Tessa used to the new routine while my sister is off visiting relatives in New Jersey. (I somewhat gratefully begged off because of the pets.) I really must figure out a faster way to get everybody ready for walks. Caesar is an old pro at this, but Tessa is more likely than not to pee on the floor if I don't get her out the door in a jiffy. But there's collars and leashes for the dogs and hats and mitts and coats and boots for me, and then there's the puppy carrier for Tessa to ride in once she gets tired. At least yesterday was warm enough that I didn't have to bundle the dogs up in their winter jackets too. I really must get photos of us all milling around in the hallway, but those will have to wait.
Also spent time getting Tessa used to her crate. She's quite good at going to 'jail', if only because I keep the puppy food there to stop Caesar from eating it.
