thirty-five years
It was my parents' 35th anniversary last weekend, and they celebrated by living it up at Myrtle Beach (which is fairly close to their new house in SC). Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad! During a time when 50% of married couples get divorced, it's remarkable and inspiring that they're still going strong after thirty-five years.
I don't talk about my parents much on this blog, because I'm very aware of how public it is, but they're two incredible people. We've had plenty of arguments over the years (all three of us, and my sister too, are pretty strong-willed people), but the love has always been there, and I'm so glad they're in my life, even if we're separated by half the circumference of the Earth.
