No Life Lessons for some time now... But I've been pretty busy with make-up homework, presentations, critiques, tests, and field trips to the theatre. And what did I do at school today? Play Online Checkers and watch the Newly Wed's Game show. F~un.
Finally got my Modigliani-like Roxas painting finished last weekend. That was hell. But I'm satisfied with the results. (Oh, and I saw Hamlet on Tuesday... THE BEST.)
Just a side not to Capt'n, who've I've not heard from since FEBRUARY. Shame shame. But fear not, I shall review you're new chapter when I'm not so tired (just got off of work, now it's 10pm).
And on a completely different note, a drabble written during boredom:
Warnings: KH2, slight spoilers, Axel
Drabble 001: Axel remembers
When Axel first came into existence, it was the Superior who found him. At that time, he had been living in a small village with its own little world. He spent most of his time watching the village kids bully and fight and feel while he could only look at himself and remember.
It was the Superior who told Axel what he was. Not who, for Nobodies are not beings. Axel, for his part, took this all in stride. After all, there was no other way to react. Was he supposed to be angry? Axel could suddenly remember what anger felt like, remembered the satisfaction of lashing out when the emotion became overwhelming.
He supposed that if he pretended enough, he could someday fool himself into really believing he was doing more than just following a memory.
It wasn’t until Axel met Roxas that he remembered the warmth of friendship.
It wasn’t until Roxas left that Axel realized he no longer only remembered what it felt like to hurt.
