and the second one...
well, the second competition of the season...haha. yeah. not very good. We practiced for 5 hours before it, so by the time we got there we were exhausted anyway. We warmed up and performed. On the positive side of things, I didn't drop anything! But I did fuck up a few things. Our show happens so fast that if you make one little tiny mistake, its absolutely impossible to get back in. so that sucks because a LOT of us made a LOT of little tiny mistakes, which added up to a bunch of people struggling to get back in LOL. BUT our score DID go up from last weeks: 58.3 and 2nd place out of 3. At least we haven't gotten last place yet! Men w/a Vision beat us...but they're calling themselves something different this year. Oh well, they'll always be "MEN WITH A VISION" in our hearts, LMAO.
and we SO added a really COOL new part to our show. it's during this 17 count move. at first, jim (one of our many instructors) came and taught us some really effed up work that none of us could do. so we made it like a wild crazy set where people do these crazy-ass flag exchanges across the floor and stuff. Personally, I, along with Jerry, do a money-hand 45 toss and catch it behind my back! how sweet is that?! way. LOL
