Well I just wanted to say- damn!!!
I'm not nearly as unhappy these days as I make myself out to be. Not that I'm especially happy... Its more like a constant turmoil thing. But whatmehver.
I went and saw V for Vendetta the other day. It was awesome. Very well made movie in my opinion. Of course I just like the question it poses along the lines of where is the balance between civil liberties and security in a nation. Of course there was also the conspiracy theory theme in which a would-be head-of-state creates enough fear that civil liberties could be ignored by the 'organization people'. Thats pretty interesting. It reminds me of a movie quote, "What is the most universal human characteristic: fear or laziness?"
