Just finished "Pledged: The Secret Life of Sororities" by Alexandra Robbins

Hmmm...what to say. Granted, this is not all places. They don't admit where it's set but I'm assuming it's in the south where they are bigger and tend to have houses that are big and full and campuses are run by the Greeks. My college didn't have that so much. There was a greek presence but it wasn't overwhelming.

In some ways it is no different than being in the marching band. We were told what to wear and how to do our hair and got up in the middle of the night to be places and couldn't miss it for fear of bad things happening.

But it didn't matter that I wasn't a size 0. :)

Interesting read. I did some research online and the general consensus of the Greek populations of the country are not happy about the book. Some things have nothing to do with sororities though. Boy-girl-drinking drama happened everywhere!
