A Married Saturday Night

Nov 01, 2008 19:17

We decided to go to Olive Garden in White Marsh tonight to use our gift cards. We originally picked 5:30 to beat the crowd, but then we wound up there even earlier because we were showered and just sitting around waiting for it to be dinner time. Expecting to be dining with the senior citizens of the greater White Marsh area, we showed up around 5. Big mistake. There was already almost an hour wait!!! Even though it was only 5 and therefore an hour would be a reasonable dinner time, we didn't feel like waiting and instead headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings at the mall. Surrounded by about 50 TVs playing various college football games, we had a surprisingly decent meal. They have like 16 different sauces of varying spiciness and flavors. Nothing I'd save for a fancy dinner out, but I'd go there again to try another sauce. I'm not a big wings person but I liked my sandwich. Also at dinner we ran in to Mike's cousin with his wife and baby. Random, considering neither of us lives there :)

Then we went to BJ's and somehow spent $100 even though we felt like we bought nothing. Now we're sitting here watching Chuck from last Monday.

And *that* makes for a crazy married Saturday night.

eating out, weekend
