Huh-I see EGT posted an update on the status of her Support Stacie fics, which leads me to believe that perhaps I ought to do the same. (Hi, I’m a lemming, how can I follow you today?)
Right.
Kholly: winner of one of the $20 auctions. Fic written and sent on over to her; to be posted at the end of ASTG
Lgrace61: winner of one of the $20 auctions. Fic written and sent over to her; to be posted at the end of ASTG
Measi: winner of one of the $20 auctions. Fic written and sent over (at least I think I did-Measi, did you get it?)
Wiggiemomsi: winner of one of the $20 auctions. Fic written and sent over; to be posted at the end of ASTG
Xebgoc: winner of one of the $20 auctions. Fic written and sent over; to be posted at the end of ASTG.
P_C: winner of one of the $20 auctions. *hangs head in shame* fic still on the drawing board as I work out how to start it.
Ginamak’s Gang (as I’ve taken to calling the lovely group of people who pooled resources):
Fic 1: I’m fourteen pages in and, oddly, stuck on the smut. Who’d have thought Peter would be so reluctant to get naked?
Fic 2: I’m four pages in, mainly because it took me a wee while to work out how I wanted to do this one. Oh, and I started it, then deleted it three pages in because I hated how it started. I like where it’s going now, though, and hope to be able to get about twenty pages out of the deal (given the sums of money involved, I really want to make sure everyone gets their money’s worth).
I see there’s another Support Stacie in September; I plan to sign up for it, so long as I’m confident I’ll be able to meet my outstanding fic obligations before that auction starts.
Now-my brain really is a jumble when it comes to who won my services and to whom I owe fics. So please-if you won my services, and you don’t see your name here? TELL ME PLEASE. And if you’re up there and you didn’t in fact receive your fic (assuming I said I sent it your way)-again, TELL ME PLEASE ;)
For everyone who bid on me, thank you again for your patience. I know it took a while for me to write this time around, and your understanding really was appreciated.
Now, in other ficcy-related goodness, as EGT mentioned in her journal she,
chicklet73, and I are all going to be at
WriterCon this year (I really don’t know how I got talked into this). EGT has, quite rightly, been asked to sit on the “
It’s a Thing: Choosing the Right Adjective” panel; also quite rightly, C73 (whose smut is guaranteed to set your knickers aflame) is on the “
Expletive Deleted: How explicit is too explicit?” panel. I’ve been asked to sit on the “Beta Writing Roundtable Discussion” which doesn’t actually appear to exist yet, but is slated to occur at some point over the weekend. Both C73 and EGT are (unnaturally) excited about the prospect of the cocktail party and mingling with large groups of strangers; I have plans to pull a Peter and skulk in the corner watching the crowd in-between sitting in on the panel on piracy and, of course, EGT and C73’s panels. But hey! If you’re going, and/or you live in the area, let me know! I’d be happy to commiserate.
