I know! Who knew running you hands through someone's hair in public could be so erotic?

If it involves Peter Carlisle and him practically melting into her touch, damn near purring like a kitten with a bellyful of cream, I don't find it surprising. :)

Ok, chicklet73, this response covers your original, as well. But, as with many others, the hair of Tennant lured me further downthread.

First, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. More to the point, I'm glad the denouement worked for you and everyone else. As I've said in other comments, I spent a lot of time going back and forth on this, noodling and wavering and wondering...but when this flowed out of the pen, it just felt right. I'm glad you (and others) agree!

As to the hair. That was deliberate. Not the eroticness (that's not a word, I know, but it's the best I can do) of it, but that the garden was the first time Rose actually let herself *believe* enough to run her fingers through it. It's such an intimate gesture, and--for whatever reason--I see Rose viewing it as something special, something major.

*chugs champagne desperately*

Thanks. I needed that.

;)

*runs off to happily ponder what hair-related ficlets could be written*

...if there's a way for me to ever go back to thinking about medical loss ratios today with any sort of enthusiasm whatsoever I do not know what it is.

Peter reading the reports/spreadsheets out loud to you while doing a striptease? ;P

You know, I'm going to imagine Peter Carlisle is reading my work stuff to me for the rest of this trip.

Bring on work!
