There's something to be said for insomnia on a Thursday morning, first crack at a new Peter/Rose drabble.

Wow. I can't even explain how much I liked this. Poor Peter, taking a beating like that. I love how Rose doesn't freak out though, just soothes him and gets him to bed. They are quite perfect together.

And you're writing just blows my mind sometimes. This was so incredibly well written, it paced so well with what was going on, you can feel the peace of their moment in the bathroom when he first wakes. Simply stunning.

I'd say more but I'm afraid I'm too incoherant due to lack of sleep.

(ETA: Holy crap. First? Really? Wow, two points to insomnia!)

At this point in their relationship, they've each seen the other beat up on more than one occasion. Poor kids. ;)

Rose is very good about not coddling or pandering to Peter...except when he lapses into little-boy mode, as he sort of does here.

Awww, this was sweet and fluffy like a warm towel. Although the image of Peter in the bath did short circuit my brain for several moments! What a way to wake up!

Rose is very, very lucky in that she gets to wake up to Peter every morning. But finding him in the bath...well, I think that is just about the best way she's ever found him, of a morning. :)
