Prompt: something from Lucy's POV, about her parents? She can be any age.
Notes: I kind of misplaced ginamak's original request from her Support Stacie bid, and so last night I asked her for a new prompt. Of course, I then *found* her request...but wrote this one anyway.
Lucy had gone for a walk, desperate to escape her family after two weeks cooped together at the cottage; upon her return she was surprised to find her parents sitting near the shore...alone. She slowed her pace, curious.
They were on the picnic bench, backs to the table and faces towards the sea. Da was leaning into her mum, saying something with a small smile. Her mum turned to him, and said something in reply that made her Da laugh.
She blushed as she watched her Da kiss her mum, and she turned to take another walk along the shore.
