I always envisioned it ending with the two of them having sex on a picnic blanket out in the field ;) I have this theory that Rose, eventually, buys that parcel of land. :)

I really like the fact that it is on their anniversary that each finally reveals when it was that they realized they were in love.

I don’t know that I even have words to tell you how this passage affected me, but I had to highlight it just because it is so simple, yet so poignant.
I really like that passage, too--because it sums up *everything* for Rose.

*sigh* See, this is why I went to law school instead of getting an MBA. At least I was able to count up to 2 without incident. Honestly, the older I get the dumber I get. Do you know, even when I'm staring directly at a clock (with numbers!) I still have trouble telling time? I think I need to go back to kindergarten, or, at the very least, be allowed to take a nap at 12 every day to recharge my brain.
