Thank you!

Um, us too. (Which I'm sure is the *real* reason Peter was scruffy over a bank holiday weekend.)

Peter aims to please *g*

Sorry, I just couldn't resist that line, or the prospect of naked!wet!Peter playing board games by himself.

Tsk. It would be "A Laundry Thing", clearly ;) And I've no doubt my perverse little muse will drive me to write it one of these days.

He has such a developed aesthetic sense (though certainly not a traditional one), but he also remembers the stories about all the important objects and rituals.

You really kind of hit it all in this paragraph, but I couldn't cite the entire thing. Peter's so observant, so tactile, that he'd have to connect with those things that are important to him; often, they were the only stable things in his life.

Poor Peter.

Completely unrelated, but I had a really weird dream about carving soapstone last night.

Huh. Oddly--and unusually--I dreamt about John Simm. Weird.

I love the image of this, and how physically connected they are, even when they aren't engaged in *ahem* board game activities.

By this point, they're starting to really hit their stride. There are still a few (infrequent) hiccoughs, but not many.

I love that Peter is letting Rose in on another of his rituals.

*happy sigh*

\o/ Peter smut is always awesome.

And that's one of the things that's so appealing about him, and makes him so genuine. He's so sweet and generous, even though he's gotten burned. I guess it's that he's also a lot more private, and so getting little glimpses of what makes him tick gives me warm fuzzies.

I dreamt about John Simm.

Sounds infinitely more fun than carving soapstone and running around middle school, high school, and college classrooms that had mysteriously merged into one massive maze of a building. There should not be that many teachers/professors in one place.

There are still a few (infrequent) hiccoughs, but not many.

Well, they wouldn't be Peter and Rose if they didn't occasionally have a row. Keeps things interesting, as long as they resolve it with relatively few scrapes.

There's plenty of possibilities, that's for sure ;)

His prickly persona is all about self-preservation--kind of like a cactus, really. Once you get past it, he's just ridiculously nice. Well, to the people he likes. ;)

I don't see them as having screaming, throwing-things rows. I do see them as having rather emotional, intense ones, though, because they're both so full of passion and love. But they always make up--and they move on from it.

*shudders* That would probably be too close to Loreen for Peter to handle. One of the lovely things that we saw in March was that even when they fought, it stemmed from how much they loved each other...which is why Rose's speech to Peter in ASiRV was so perfect.

Yeah, I don't think we have to worry about any Waiting to Exhale/War of the Roses moments from these two.
