Right now, my ears are being flooded with the sound of a very large crowd. They're all cheering for the Super Bowl "World" Champions who will be marching up Broadway in a couple of hours. The Ticker Tape Parade is not as exciting to me as it is to everyone else.
I like that my building is in a very historic/popular part of the city, but I'm not a huge Giants fan. I think it's great that they're celebrating. But wouldn't they rather celebrate in a place better suited for celebratory crowds, i.e. Time's Square?
Don't they know people work here! I'm trying to concentrate, but occasionally my floor shakes from the vibrations of the crowd. I feel like I'm in a football stadium.
The streets are completely crowded and will be blocked off in an hour. I won't be able to escape until after the parade is over and the people have been properly dispersed.
Oh god, the horns are out. The parade hasn't even started yet...on top of that, I'm starving. I have no where to get food. This isn't good.
