Dear Internet Service Provider (ISP) which cuts out intermittently,
I know its been a long semester for you. It has been for me too. Projects, research, WebCT, late night AIM chats, downloads... it's all a burden, I know. But I need you. I really do. I need you for all these things. And I appreciate all that you do for me when you work properly. But Internet Service Provider (ISP) which cuts out intermittently, I just don't think you understand your importance. You gave up on us so early. It's been four months since we've shared a constant, working connection. You would think that over the time of four months you and I could work out some kind of agreement. Oh sure, you've sent your technicians here to try to fix the problem, but it's all a big tease. Nothing ever changes. Even the week when you worked properly, oh, about a month ago--- all a sham. Why must you toy with my emotions? I don't think I ask for too much. Others insist that their ISP provide enough bandwith to download movies, music, games, load webpages on demand, etc. All I ask is for instant messenger and the occasional websites. Sure, once in a while I may try to download something, but it's never much more than a pdf or word document. Rarely, heaven forbid, and mp3. I really don't think it's too much to ask.
And also, Internet Service Provider (ISP) which cuts out intermittently, it's not just me you're hurting. Your off-and-on antics frustrate not only me, but all of my roommates. They, too, share my feelings about this. I'm sure that the seven of us (my five roommates, you, and I) could come to some kind of agreement. Is it a lunch break between 12 and 1 that you want? It's yours! Do you want limited downloading time? We can work something out! Please, Internet Service Provider (ISP) which cuts out intermittently, we need you. We really do. And I know that all of us are willing to do whatever necessary to get you to work.
Now, I don't like to theaten, but Internet Service Provider (ISP) which cuts out intermittently, we need this resolved. I'm afraid that if you don't start working by the end of the year, we'll have to replace you. This just can't go on much longer. Not only that, but we'll have to ask for our money back, too. You hear that? OUR MONEY BACK. That's right, Internet Service Provider (ISP) which cuts out intermittently, you would have spent the last five months sometimes-working in vain. Now, let's be friends. Play nice. And stay connected at all times.
Yours in best computing,
Jenny

I've never written one of these before, but considering it's finals week, I thought it would be a good time to start. And my internet sucks balls. So behold, my venting/procrastinating!
