Summer 2011
Hi all,
It's been a while. But life has been an interesting mix of happiness and sadness this year so far. On a happy note, I've graduated Grad school with a Masters in Public Relations and not to toot my own horn, but I graduated with highest honors. Now I just have to finish my Thesis and I'll receive my degree. I can only hope that it helps me get a job in the PR field and that I haven't put myself into debt for nothing.
On a sad note, I lost my grandfather at the beginning of May and it still doesn't feel quite real. I still expect him to email me or call me and it's never gonna happen again. So to all of you have lost someone close to you, my deepest sympathies. I can now say that I understand what it feels like. I mean people have died that I have known, but those people were not close to me like my grandpa and when my dad's parents passed I wasn't old enough to understand what it meant. So RIP Popi. I miss you terribly and wish you were still here with us.
So all in all this year as I said above has been a roller coaster ride of emotions and I can only hope that the rest of the year is happy. It should be as in June (15-25) my family and I are going to France for 10 days to celebrate my dad's 65th birthday. It should be amazing.
And in August I'm going to the Chicago Stargate Convention again. I can't wait. It should be a bunch of fun and laughs with good friends.
