Leeroy Jenkins
If you're familair with World of Warcraft, then you've probably heard of this guy, Leeroy Jenkins...who became 'famous' amongst WoW players a couple of years ago when this video of he and guild attempting to battle it out with a bunch of enemies.
He was AFK, away from keyboard, at the moment when the leader of the group was explaining the strategy they were going to use...and well, when he came back...he just ignored everyone and took off and the result is hilarious...
As a result of this video being posted all over the place, he has gained 'fame' in the WoW universe...the game company, Blizzard, even created an in game achievement if you can accomplish what they were attempting to do within a certain amount of time...and there was even a question on Jeopardy! that mentioned Leeroy...
This video is either a sign of when gaming gets too serious, very effective strategizing (if it wasn't for Leeroy), or someone just doing something utterly stupid...I haven't decided yet...
