30 Day Video Game - 1-30

I'm working on my ship meme...this one was easier to do :)
I've played video games for as long as I can remember. First system was the Nintendo....whatever it was called.
But despite loving video games...I have this bad habit of starting a game, getting halfway (or further) and never finishing D: I have a ton of games sitting on the shelves that I have never actually finished. Sometimes it's because I watched my sister finish it and therefore feel like I played it through. Or I get distracted by a new game...or I might have ADD. But most of the time it's because my TV is constantly being used by my parents. /sigh
Day 1 - Very first video game.
Hmmmm....I've played video games for so long I can't remember. Let's see....first system we had was Sega Genesis....so, it was either Sonic the Hedgehog or ....no wait. First system was Ninendo NES so... Super Mario Bros. :)
Day 2 - Your favorite character.
Um, I have no idea. I can't narrow it down. There are several, these are just a few: Balthier from Final Fantasy XII, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Thrall and Prophet Velen from World of Warcraft and Lara Croft cause she kicks ass.
Day 3 - A game that is underrated.
Hmmm...I guess I'm going to go with Folklore on the PS3. It's suck a gorgeous game and awesome story line. Such a shame no one played it.
Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game.
Uhhhhhh, not sure. I guess I'm going to go with The X Files - Resist or Serve as well. Like suddenlyisee3 says, it's not perfect, not even close, but I love all the little inside jokes and shout outs to the show XD
Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
Hmm, this is hard. *ponders* I guess I'm going go with my Draenei Paladin from World of Warcraft; she's kick ass. Really though, I have no answer.
Day 6 - Most annoying character.
Vaan from Final Fantasy XII - the most useless, pointless main character EVER!! Seriously, he adds nothing to the plot and the story doesn't even concern him. He just takes up space and 'screentime' from the cooler characters like Balthier.
Day 7 - Favorite game couple.
Um, none really, but if I truly have to pick, I'll go with Squall Leonheart and Rinoa Heartily from Final Fantasy VIII.
Day 8 - Best soundtrack.
Anything from World of Warcraft. Absolutely gorgeous music that sounds fitting for a film score.

Day 9 - Saddest game scene.
Hmmm.....I'm going to have to say the scene in Final Fantasy VII after Aerith dies and Cloud carries her body to the water so she can rejoin Gaia.

Another one is the ending of Final Fantasy X - OMG it's sad once you realize one of the characters has been dead the entire length of the game...WARNING: THIS ONE IS MAJORLY SPOILERY...IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAY FINAL FANTASY X AND PLAN ON DOING SO, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SKIP THIS ;)
Day 10 - Best gameplay.
The Assassin's Creed series; for me, the puppeteering type controls just works so well.
Day 11 - Gaming system of choice.
PS3...and PS2 (my PS3 is backwards compatible though, all the way back to PS1). And the PC to a point.
Day 12 - A game everyone should play.
....good question. At least one of the many Final Fantasy games out there I guess :)
Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times.
*ponders which games I actually played more than once*. Oh, it's got to be Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time...the platforming was so much fun :D
Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper.
Deathwing from World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
Day 15 - Post a screenshot from the game you're playing right now.
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (or rather the pre-patch...most of the new stuff is out now :)) - This particular part was so fun...rocket ride XD That's my new Tauren Paladin, her name is Canija
Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes.
Final Fantasy series
Day 17 - Favorite antagonist.
It's too cliche to say Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII so I'm gonna say Prince Arthas/The Lich King from World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King. His story was a tragedy, his descent into madness where he *becomes* the very thing he was fighting. Really tragic. And it is a bit disappointing that there was no hope for redemption, but that happens at times.
Day 18 - Favorite protagonist.
Um...almost too many to name. Nathan Drake, Lara Croft, The Prince of Persia, ...and my characters from World of Warcraft ;p
Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in.
Hmm....I guess Old World Azeroth from World of Warcraft...before the Shattering. (they recently redid the entire game world so everything is different and is broken now)
Day 20 - Favorite genre.
RPG, Action/Adventure
Day 21 - Game with the best story.
World of Warcraft - the Warcraft series has over 15 years worth of lore and is extremely intriguing...
If I have to choose storyline, I'll go with Final Fantasy X.
Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you.
Hmm....can't remember...
Day 23 - Game you think had the best graphics or art style.
Assassin's Creed II and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves...gorgeous graphics
Prince of Persia (2008) has a gorgeous art style as well.
Day 24 - Favorite classic game.
Um....Tetris?
Day 25 - A game you plan on playing.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Also wouldn't mind checking out Heavy Rain
Day 26 - Best voice acting.
The Uncharted series... Seriously, best damn voice acting I've heard in a video game...and the best script as well.
Day 27 - Most epic scene ever.
The Wrathgate questline in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.
The train gun fight scene in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was pretty awesome as well..
Day 28 - Favorite game developer.
Can't pick just one...Activision|Blizzard, Ubisoft and SquareEnix
Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn't like, but ended up loving.
World of Warcraft and Metal Gear Solid series...
Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time
Um....I have no idea...but I do know I can't pick just one.
