I could write so many books on women.
Men always complain, "women", with an accompanied eye roll and sigh of exasperation. Why? Why do they find us so confusing?
Because we do not want to have to tell you guys everything. It is almost as if we're constantly testing you, to see if you're able to read us, if you're sensitive enough to pick up on the fact that we're unhappy or that we want something. And when you fail that test, it makes us pretty upset because we have to face the fact that you're not really who we want you to be, who we still sometimes like to think that you are.
The failing of these aforementioned tests leads to feelings of abandonment, and we tend to view you as callous and uncaring. It also forces us to examine how well you actually know us and when we women are faced with this harsh reality: "wow, he really don't know me at all", we tend to become irritated and begin to feel that the relationship is one-sided.
While all this is most definitely true and I will readily own up to our selfishness and pettiness, there are sometimes when you just act deaf, dumb and blind. In fact, most of the time you are huge, inconsiderate assholes and deserve to be bitch slapped.
