1) How many clowns would it take to freak you out?
It's more a question of what they're doing than how many there are, though I suppose a crowd of 50 of them would freak me out a bit even if they were doing nothing.
2) What is your favorite card game?
Solitaire ;o)
3) Are the undies you're wearing right now age appropriate?
I suppose?
4) Five things you can touch right now without getting up.
Laptop, knitting needle roll, MP3 player, lamp, my cat Tinkerbell

Yes, if I have the kids with me. No if I don't

I try not to look.

That I really need to clean my house.

Cat person

Turn it in. I would be tempted to keep it, but would make myself turn it in.

Snacks for Claire's class from Costco.
12) If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
So hard to choose! I think the place I want to visit most is England, even though I've already been there. The tour group I was with really rushed us through most of the things I really wanted to see.
13) Where do you see yourself in five years?
I don't know. There's a big part of me that wants another child. But it's warring with the part of me that sees that I'm not such a stellar parent to the 2 I have and thinks I should stop while I'm ahead before I fall further behind. I'd definitely like to be in a bigger house--one with at least 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms.
14) Last book you've read?
Specials. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be reading nonfiction. I got distracted.
15) What are you doing this weekend?
Car shopping maybe? Oh yeah, guess I haven't mentioned here that a week ago some idiot plowed into my car where it was parked on the street, then hit my neighbor's car, then drove off. A few neighbors saw some of it, but were unable to get a license plate or a better description of the vehicle than "mid-90's white pickup with a stripe on the side." I'm waiting to hear from the insurance company, but suspect my van will be totalled :o(
16) If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I do play one :o) If I could add another, it would be piano. Or maybe mandolin.
17) How are you?
A bit down. I wish USAA would let us know what they're going to do about our car. And I'm having a hard time adjusting to our new schedule now that J works so much further away. And I wish I could find the energy/motivation to clean this place up.
