Teen Wolf Lydia/Erica recs!

Feb 10, 2013 15:15

Erica/Lydia recs! The rules: no WIPs, had to have the pairing as more than just a one-off in a series of drabbles or as background (though where noted they share the stage). That left me with 21 fics out of the 40 listed at AO3.

Fics start with the plot-ish, move on to the PWP:
  • I Know I'm a Mess You Don't Want to Clean Up by lielabell. Explicit, 11,588 words. Her mother is not impressed with her sudden interest in makeup or her new hairdo or the change in her wardrobe, but Erica doesn't give a flying fuck because everyone else in the world is impressed by it. And, while she loves her mother, really, the rest of the world wins.
Written for the TW FF contest and so many of you have probably already read it but SUCH a great Erica here, such a fantastic look at why she might be doing what she's doing, during the time after she's turned.
  • Are You Satisfied (With an Easy Ride) by brilligspoons. General, 3,222 words. After Jackson and his parents move away, Lydia starts over again.
MAN this is great. More Lydia-centric, with a lot of Lydia&Stlies friendship, but very much Lydia/Erica as well, as Lydia inserts herself into Stiles's life of werewolfery and gets over Jackson.
  • A capute ad calcem by snoozing kitten. Explicit, 4109 words. A mishap leads Erica and Lydia to switch bodies; it could have been worse.
The only downside is that it was written for a 24-hour challenge and you'll feel it with the sense of an idea that hasn't been fully explored, potential unrealized, but what is here is fascinating.
  • shoot me down, but I won't fall by quintenttsy. Teen, 2,140 words. “You were looking at me,” Lydia says, and she isn’t accusatory this time. Her head’s cocked to one side, and she’s studying Erica with a level of interest she usually only affords complex calculus. “You were staring.”
Interesting take on Lydia and Erica in the girls' room, before and after Erica becomes a werewolf.
  • A Feeling Like Falling by written human. Mature, 2,774 words. Erica feels amazing after Derek turns her, except for those times when she really, really doesn't.
More pre-slash-ish, mostly Erica trying to work out how she feels about her newly unleashed sexuality.
  • ensnared unaware by RonnieMinor. General, 3,280 words. Erica likes Lydia. Lydia likes Erica. It should be simple. The problem is, neither of them have worked it out yet. They'll figure it out eventually. Maybe.
Part of a larger 'verse, and likely better if you've read that, but charming in the way that Lydia and Erica work at cross purposes to each other and to what they really want.
  • Push by missmishka. Teen, 1,761 words. Set in 2x05 "Venomous," a missing scene where Erica actually manages to get a moment alone with Lydia.
Pre-slash maybe? Some slut-shaming from Lydia to Erica and not necessarily in the fun way, so a little more vicious than I like them but definitely sexy so YMMV.
  • I can be the answer by listedheart. Explicit, 4,098 words. “Sweetie,” Lydia says, voice saccharine, smile sweet, “didn't anyone ever tell you it's lips or eyes?”
The best of the cattily snarking each other into bed Lydia/Erica trope; if you like the summary, you'll love the story.
  • Wrecked Off Your Perfume by BridgetMcKennitt. Explicit, 2,031 words. Erica didn't like Lydia all that much, but that didn't matter when they were alone and naked.
Lydia, Erica, and a classroom no one's using right now. Do you really need more than that?
  • Tumbling Down by akadougal. Explicit, 1,933 words. When Lydia catches Derek and Stiles, Erica is there to help out.
Meaning, Erica quickly takes her away for sexytimes-in Derek's currently unoccupied bed.
  • A Peeping Stiles by softywolf. Explicit, 2,716 words, includes Derek/Stiles. He must have looked like a mess, standing in the doorway like some kind of Peeping Tom. No, he was a fucking Peeping Stiles. He knew his face was flushed red from the arousal coursing through his body and the heat flooding his nether regions.
Stiles POV and plenty of mutual voyeurism and exhibitionism between the two couples. Super hot, though this is my OT4 so it hits a lot of my buttons.
  • Laid Out, Laid Bare by akadougal. Explicit, 3,467 words. Erica has a fun night planned for her and Lydia. That's when the spanner called Chris Argent lands in the works.
This one really depends on how you feel about Erica watching as Lydia fucks Chris Argent with a strap-on in the back room of a club. Definitely a snapshot of Lydia and Erica and how they are together, but also about how Chris Argent tries to mourn his wife.

Short and sexy ficlets:
  • liars and cheats go to hell by someotherchick. General, 94 words. maybe he’s right. maybe you are going to hell. ( you should have called her back when you had the chance )
  • Crush by therudestflower. Teen, 100 words. The Erica in Lydia's bedroom isn't real.
  • Crave by setos_puppy. Explicit, 534 words. (Author Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings; contains spanking and some verbal slut shaming/possessiveness.) Her smart ass needed to be punished.
  • Day 4: Candy Canes by dreamingbackwards. Teen, 407 words. (Author Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings; there's a conversation and some sucking on candy canes.) Erica plants her ass on Lydia's desk, crossing her legs in a really distracting way. She shouldn't be wearing a skirt that tiny if she's planning on sitting on desks, Lydia thinks.
  • Coefficient Of The Body by BridgetMcKennitt. Teen, 200 words. Lydia was a multitasker.
  • lay this body down by figuline. Mature, 304 words. erica braids their hair together in lydia's childhood bed, and it's all lydia can do to keep still.

Plus I wrote three:
  • The Migratory Patterns of Omegas by clio_jlh. Explicit, 8,554 words. Erica and Stiles are convinced that they're going to go down in history as the first-ever omegas at Beacon Hills High School to go unclaimed. But they also, deep down, have an alpha that they're hoping will come to them when they go into heat. Both of these ideas about instinctive mating are pretty much entirely wrong.
  • Distractions by clio_jlh. Explicit, 1,872 words. Lydia and Erica have fun teasing Stiles while he drives them home, but just a tease isn't enough for them.
  • It's Really Quite Simple by clio_jlh. Explicit, 502 words. Lydia asks and so Lydia shall receive. Erica just has to make it happen and really, it's not that complicated.
