I love ambitious!Kirk. It seems like I see a lot of arguing about people writing Kirk stupid and the recklessness or whatever, but this is totally what he would be like in school. Hot headed underneath, but keeping his eye on the goal, always thinking about what he has to do to stick to his plan.
Also I identified with Kirk here--I have been trying to write my paper and starting it 50 times and crashing and burning. I feel ya, Kurt!
ETA: OMG, just after I hit send Sunflower came trotting in with Bunny, jumped up on the bed and settled in squeezing Bunny in her paws and sucking on Bunny's foot. She totally gets you, Jim! There were fireworks last night very late!
