HIMYM, "The Perfect Cocktail": Kinda mediocre, wasn't it? I dunno, I feel like they're sort of coasting to the finale.
Hawaii Five-0, "Ho'ohuli Na'au": Same. The case took a backseat to Chin's endless need to sacrifice himself for his family, a storyline I always find tiresome. Seriously, Chin, just stop, so you can be an interesting character with an interesting motivation and not someone with this whole plot I don't care about.
Castle, "To Love and Die in LA": !!!!!! What a great mystery, and I love how he says that hell will rain down and it's totally Beckett. And then it totally did. Also god, Castle in first class, the hotel, so classic! Ryan and Esposito helping Beckett, the Captain kinda knowing that they were going to, and everyone knowing that Beckett was headed to LA, just, a really good mystery and a very well structured episode that also gave us piles of great character moments and shippiness not only with Castle and Beckett but also with Lanie and Esposito. The show at its best.
Glee, "Rumours": This week I skipped all the stuff I didn't care about, which left me with "Fondue for Two" and the songs. I loved Brittany's webcast, the way Puck materialized behind Artie (and all his "I'm so totally Lindsay Buckingham right now" guitar playing), Lord Tubbington (and his thoughts on The Aristocats), and Sam crying over his guitar. Then I turned the TV off and listened to Rumours because it's awesome.
Justified, "Bloody Harlan": !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet we'll have Dickie around next season, but I like that Doyle is gone because he was just kind of annoying. Mags was brilliant and the lovely parallel between when we first really saw and when we last saw her was so fantastic. And Boyd helping out Raylan also paralleled Raylan letting Boyd go after his father's killers. I also hope we see more Loretta. What a seriously fantastic season!
Community, "A Fistful of Paintballs": !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Part one of really three as next week is an hour long episode, so I'm not sure what to say except that it's already awesome and it's just going to get awesomer. Loving tough Annie and totally insecure Jeff and villainous saloon owner Pierce. Excitement!
