Yesterday was kind of awful but today was pretty great! It's weird, my birthday is at the end of August but it always turns cold right before it; when I was growing up in Maine I could never have a swimming party for my birthday

Thanks! Yeah, I stopped doing them on the LJ and sort of moved them to twitter because it's a better format for them (no constant reloading/editing the post which is, frankly, tiresome) and because people didn't really interact with the live blogging but they do interact on twitter. Like, I was doing it less to make a post and more to share in the experience of watching the show, and as the years went on that happened less and less.

Of course, it might also be that there was a period when fannish shows got nominated a lot and now they don't so much.

It's weird, I'm not actually watching many of these shows, so I was sort of like, blah blah blah through the whole thing. But here are my thoughts, such as they are:

--OMG YES TOP CHEF
--OMG YES JANE LYNCH
--oh well Chris Colfer you're young
--Happy for NPH but think Mike O'Malley should have won
--Wow I'm really not watching ANY of these dramas. Like, none of them.
--Daily Show is great and all but if Conan had won it would have been EPIC.

I liked all of Jimmy's bits except the twitter stuff.
