WIP meme for June!

I have been posting mid-month but June was a rough one in terms of writing, so I didn't want to post until I got a chapter out the door. Because I haven't really posted much this month, but I have signed up for stuff, I'm going to organize this more by challenges and things that are pending. I like putting down all the ideas that are floating through my head, so there's a lot of thinking out loud here.

startrekbigbang: Hollywood AU continues. There were a lot of obstacles early on, but suddenly this week the dam burst and I'm pushing forward on the draft; I'm about half done. Due 1 September.

rpf_big_bang: Rymon. I've changed my mind very slightly about what will happen in it, but I'll get to writing it after I've got all of the Hollywood AU in beta probably. Due 1 September.


dark_agenda's Racebending Revenge Ficathon: HIMYM. The fic itself will of course be a conversation at the bar, so pretty short, and thanks to
ali_wildgoose and honestys_easy I've finally figured out what to do with Ted. Due 2 July.


tenwomen: This is a year-long challenge, and so far I have in my head:

1. AI9 '70s Laurel Canyon AU, Crystal/Lily, centering around Crystal getting ready for her appearance on a Sonny-and-Cher-like show hosted by Ryan and Portia De Rossi, while Lily is out on tour. Also includes Simon, probably Lee, Siobhan, and Katelyn.
   
2. ST Chapel/Rand Radcliffe AU, the distaff side of the Kirk/McCoy Harvard AU.
   
3. HP Pansy/Parvati, school time.
   
4. AI7 Carly/Amanda. Haven't written them in a non-AU, and it came to me this week how they would play out.
   
5. White Collar. Diana, maybe with El, but I'll have to watch the upcoming season and figure out what that would actually be.
   
6. Community. Shirley, either about Shirley and her friendship with Britta and Annie, or Shirley/Jeff because I'm Team Shirley!
   
7. Glee. Mercedes/Quinn. Maybe.

fanfic100: Seamus/Dean. Happily you can use individual chapters of longer fics per prompt, and also drabbles. When the sequel is done I'll be at 37/100, though I have a sense of another, smaller, multipart. Or at least, I know what their future is. Goal is to finish these by the time the second HP&DH movie comes out, in June 2011. And the bingo cards will likely help.

Luckily there isn't anything here that squicks me or that I don't think I could write. Pretty sure I'm doing the upper right to lower left diagonal for the bingo, and then after that as the mood strikes me. Absolutely not doing this in time for points but I sort of don't care about that, as long as I get them done during the amnesty period. It's all about personal satisfaction, man. Three boyslash, two girlslash.

• Rymon season 4 rewrite/expand/retitle "Who's Afraid of Janis Ian?"
  
• AI5 Kat/Elliott 50s Hollywood AU (maybe)

The important thing really is to stop having new ideas and finish what I've already thought about. The challenges I've signed up for are actually just to soak up and help prompt the other things I'm doing-they haven't added anything to my plate.
