recs!
Generally I rec things that are in fandoms I'm not really in. While I'm hugely behind on ST reviewing, you can see my recs on my delicious. (Seriously behind-I'm up to mid-Oct.)
ANYWAY, here's some Glee and some Idolslash.
I'd rec'd honestys_easy's Outlaw's Prayer a while ago when it was still a WIP, mostly because I'm familiar enough with her writing to know that it was finished and wasn't going to go all pear-shaped. Well, it's now completed and even has a soundtrack! So if you like stories about the American West, go forth and read it. You needn't know much about Idol, or David Cook, to enjoy it though if you really want a primer Ari's made one for you here.
The always-fabulous kitsune13 has moved on from writing Will/Quinn to writing Will/Rachel! The Map Is Not the Territory is kind of amazing and not just because I got to beta it. Rachel's insanely perfect here, and also perfectly insane, which is entirely appropriate! The way in which Will and Rachel come together here makes so much sense.
(I've told Catja that I would like her to write Will/everyone in New Directions, one at a time, and then there will be a huge reveal at commencement that Will is actually a huge playa.)
Last but not least, a rec via jenncho: I Now Pronounce You Husband and Keeper by toestastegood. Sue/Will, pegging. Do you need more than that? Fine: "Sue needs a trophy husband, and she knows just the man for the job. Warnings for pegging, dub-con, Sue." It's awesome, it's hilarious, it's a must-read.
Hmm, I think I just like watching girls who aren't Terri pushing Will around. Or boys played by Neil Patrick Harris.
