So I don't have a lot to say here. Usher had a fantastic performance. Ryan and Simon spent a lot of time getting under each other's skin. Kara called Tim kind of dumb. Diddy did his Diddy thing. Mike threw Ryan around. Didi wasn't saved, probably because the sympathy vote went to Siobhan. But she'll go on the tour, so all is not lost. Someday all these boring boys will be gone.
SO INSTEAD let's play what should they sing. This week: Beatles, but only the Lennon/McCartney stuff. (Sadly no George songs.) Here are all 161 songs commercially released (other than that Anthology stuff) in chronological order:

I predict:
- Andrew may do that slow hipster version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"
- Tim will unwisely work against his made-for-teeny-bop persona and sing something off Let It Be or the b-side of Abbey Road
- Aaron will wisely work with his made-for-teeny-bop persona and sing something off Please Please Me or With the Beatles
- Big Mike will do something with strings, maybe "Yesterday" or "Golden Slumbers"
- Siobhan will do a song she's been singing with her dad since she was three and totally kill it, probably something post-Sgt. Pepper.
- Katie will continue to be as boring as possible and sing "Here There and Everywhere" or maybe "In My Life."
- Casey (who said he's going acoustic this week) will be mad that he can't do a George song (you know he wants "While My Guitar Gently Weeps") and will settle on "Norwegian Wood" or maybe "Mother Nature's Son" (in a different key)
- Lee will sing one of the many miscellaneous rock songs, but probably not "Helter Skelter" even though that's what he should choose.
- Crystal will sing whatever the hell she wants to sing and be awesome, because she probably knows every single one of those songs backwards and forwards. The producers will try to talk her out of singing something relatively obscure, like "Hey Bulldog". If she sings "Why Don't We Do It In the Road" my twitter feed will implode.
- honestys_easy suggests that Lilly would have sung a John song. Maybe "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" or "Julia" or "She Said She Said"?
