So I'm working on a new Idol fic, as some of you know, and lately I have been sometimes reading fic, sometimes not, and not being very good at leaving comments on Rymonfic where I used to be so good.
Then I remembered that when I was writing EWFS, the HP novel-length that centers on Hermione and Seamus, I read nothing but Sirius/Remus fic. I always have to take a break from the pairing I'm writing while I'm writing it-other people's interpretations of the characters gets me all muddy-headed. The thing is, there's never been enough activity for the Rymon pairing that I had to do that.
So thank you, Rymon fandom, for perking up! I'm going to delicious what I'm finding, to happily read in a big orgy of "I'm done with my story" when it's finished.
In the meantime, I'm mainlining Kirk/McCoy (because it's the new Sirius/Remus, for reals) and Sulu/Chekov (which feels very seme/uke to me, especially when Chekov screams "Hikaruuuuu!"). It's adorable, but that fandom is huge! So my question is: does anyone else get shy about leaving a comment for a fic that has 140 comments?
I need a McCoy icon. He's just too adorably irascible; I want to buy him a bottle of Knob Creek.
