FIC: Duckie/Cameron triple drabble, PGish

Nov 04, 2007 21:08

Back in January I wrote some Hugheslash, Duckie from Pretty in Pink and Cameron from Ferris Bueller, for Yuletide's New Year's Resolutions: Sensoria. Here is a triple drabble about them.

Then Cameron had an idea that was simultaneously brilliant and subversive, which he said was true of all great ideas. )

[ pairing: duckie/cameron ], [ canon: john hughes ]

so every since you put these two together i've just loved the whole idea. somehow i can see their odd little frequencies meshing perfectly.

Cameron's parents were both away, as usual aww.

and of course they'd want to use all the fancy dishes but have to do some tapdancing around the cooking issue. and "No, no, that's too much" is perfect.

OMG, what an awesome teen dinner party. Of course they'd have martinis before the fast food. Duckie brings the sweet dinnerware idea and Cameron brings the brilliant and subversive. I love it when you write about these guys.

I gave my first dinner party when I was 17, for my BFF's sweet 16, and while I did cook the rest was like that party, with all the nice dishes and the pretending to be adults and all of that. And Cameron is totally brilliant and subversive!

Thank you!

Heheh god, I can perfectly envision Duckie babbling and shimmying behind the bar in the way that he does. Ferris would add the dramatic pause before the "Bravo!". I imagine Andie, red-pink-faced, ecstatic, considering she's Andie and therefore a bit slow on the uptake but appreciative nonetheless. And Cameron, Oh Cameron, in his best grown up voice. <3

[Hence the icon, not because of sentiment, but because of his "best fake-adult voice". Blane was being wooden again, so I ignored him, fly on the wall that I am XD]

Blane is so very boring, seriously.

Aren't Duckie and Cameron just like, the perfect hosts? <3

Thanks sweetie!
